Q: Can I use a dishwasher to clean the fountain?
A: All parts of the Dockstream are not dishwasher safe.
Q: How often should I refill the water?
A: It depends on your pet family. For households with 2 or more cats, you might need to refill with water every other day.
Q: How often should I change the filters?
A: Please replace the filter every 2 – 4 weeks to keep the water fresh.
Q: Am I required to use the filter if I already have pure water that will be used in the water fountain?
A: One of the reasons you need the filter is because it keeps the the water free of debris and other contaminants, like pet fur and saliva.
Q: Why do I need to soak the filter before first use?
A: The filter absorb more water (and therefore cleans more water) when it's wet and expanded. Soaking the filter removes particulate matter that may have settled in the filter.
Q: Does this turn off automatically?
A: Yes. For safety reasons, when the water level drops below the low water level line in the tank, the water flow will stop.
Q: What if water keeps spilling out of the water tray?
A: The filter may not be full soaked. Please soak the filter in a clean bowl (not in the water tank) for 5 minutes before the first use.
Q: What if the water pump stops working?
A: 1) Fill with water between MIN and MAX. 2) Disassemble and clean the pump, water tank, and drinking basin. 3) If the above solutions don't work, please contact us at help@petlibro.com.
Q: What if the water output speed slows down?
A: 1) For first time use (or reuse after long-time storage), the water pump needs to first discharge air, and it's normal if the water output speed slows down initially. 2) There may be dirt in the pump. Try cleaning it with soap and warm water. 3) If the above solutions don't work, please contact us at help@petlibro.com.
Q: How do I make sure the fountain can track data accurately?
A: Plug in the power cable and set the fountain on a level surface where external vibrations are minimal. Leave around 8-inches of space around the device.
Q: Can this be used for wet food?
A: No. The Granary Feeder only works with dry food.
Q: For the dual bowl feeder, does the portion setting apply to each bowl individually or split between both bowls?
A: The portion setting is split between both bowls, with the distribution depending on how you adjust the meal splitter.
Q: Can this feeder work for larger dogs?
A: This feeder is more suitable for small or medium sized pets, such as small dogs, cats, and rabbits.
Q: How much dry food can it hold?
A: The Granary Feeder can hold 5 liters of dry food.
Q: Will this feeder work with larger kibble sizes?
A: The kibble size applicable to this feeder is 2-15mm / 0.07-0.6in in diameter.
NOTES

1. The filters must be replaced every 2 weeks.

2. The pump and fountain should be cleaned every 2 weeks.

3. To extend the life of pump, please add water before starting the machine.

4. Do not immerse the base in water at any time as it may damage electronic components.

5. The fountain is more suitable for single-cat households.
